St John's Church was completed in 1894 but the Cemetery had been doing burials since 1893. Many graves from other sites were moved to here, mostly from St Peter's on Concession 8 NDR. There are several graves without tombstones and a majority of the people in the older sites came from Ireland and Scotland.
In 2011 the old fences at the front of the Cemetery were torn down and replaced.
