Information provided here about the Ocosta Cemetery is in a Book called Grays Harbor Cemeteries, by the Grays Harbor Genealogy Club dated 1981 and found in the Aberdeen Library.
Location is on the Grossman Farm, the large three story house (Old)on the hill in Ocosta, Grays Harbor, Washington.
About 500-600 feet from the house, in a grove of trees on a hill to the S.E. of the gravel driveway. The old section is 100' x 100' filled so 275' x 300' was added, but only 1 grave is in the new section. The Cemetery is Land Locked meaning you must request permission from the owner of the property to get to the Cemetery.
In 1981 the Genealogy Club visited the Ocosta Cemetery with Carl Vessey and Kerry Broten. At that time Kerry stated that he played in the cemetery as a child and there were a lot of stones then.
It is very overgrown with evergreen trees and brush. There are only three visible headstones.
