The original burial ground was located at what is now the junction of 4th Street and Washington Street (Rte 22A). To the left (west) of this intersection is a small field enclosed on three sides by Lewis Lane and on one side by Washington Street. This is the location of the burial ground, where, according to the history of Fair Haven, there were 30 - 40 burials. No stones are extant.
