The cemetery is located in a large field near power lines. It has suffered severe neglect and is overgrown with brambles and weeds. Over the years, it has been seriously vandalized. Comprising a group of approximately 7 graves, only one large monument was visible at the last survey. Two stones were broken and scattered and a third was enclosed in a small brick crypt that had partially collapsed. The ruins of Bromont, the home of the Lee and Contee family stood nearby.

The location is close to the side of one of the oldest known roads in Charles County. The road connected the northern section of the county with the Laidler-Hooe Ferry at the Potomac River and was the major colonial arterial route travelled by many of the county's most famous and infamous historical figures.
