Situated about a quarter of a mile from the Moses BOYNTON (Sr.) planatation house is a "plot surrounded by a slave built rock wall four feet high, with no stile. At one end of the enclosure is a small walled plot....There are no visible markers for graves within the larger enclosure." The plantation house is located about six miles from Talbotton (1988 boundaries) on the unpaved Tazewell Road -now Taylor Road - in the 16th Land District, Georgia Militia Distirct #889 (Geneva District). Neighbors of Moses BOYNTON, Sr., along the road were Philip ADAMS, Samuel ADAMS, Sr., and Wisdom John ADAMS. Photos of this cemetery appear in "A Rockaway in Talbot: Travels in an Old Georgia County," Volume III, by William H. "Bill" Davidson (1988), p. 90.
