Also known as the Curl-Bobb Cemetery, or the Curl-Bobb-Baxter Cemetery.

This cemetery (one mile east of Otis) is the burial ground of the Salmon River Indians who occupied the area for decades before the arrival of the white settler in the 1870's. The cemetery, itself, most likely dates from the 1880's; however, the south bank of the Salmon River, near its mouth, was long a site used by the Indians for canoe burials of the dead. The deceased Indians were wrapped in mats, placed in their canoes, and the canoes were tied up in the pine trees.

There are approximately 40-50 burials in this cemetery. The descendants of the Curl-Bobb-Baxter families clean the cemetery each year and have it fenced.
