Thomas Guptil who came to Waterbury two hundred and sixty years ago, settled on Guptil Hill, there lived and died, and was buried in the Guptil family lot on the hill. All the Guptils were farmers (Source from History of Waterbury Vt I763-1800.
Location Now Called Blush hill up Behind the golf coarse.
Lost and forgotten. Hikers Reported Finding Head Stones in 1979 in the woods behind the Coarse. Location till this day has not been located. Kenneth W Guptil 5th Gen. who got me into Genealogy Tried once to find the lost plot.
