Cemetery is in Greatwood Subdivision. It is on Maple Run and Deer Hollow Drive off of Rabbs Crossing. It is in a neighborhood called Greatwood Crossing. It has a large white wrought iron fence around it. There are no markers visible, but a sign that says "Pickens Cemetery" posted by the FBC Historical Commission.

On May 15, 1837, John Harris Pickens, Sr. was one of the sixty men who signed a petition for the formation of Fort Bend County. Pickens was a farmer and stock raiser who lived in the Crabb area on a labor that he bought out of the Abner Kuykendall league in 1843.
