The first known survey of this cemetery was done by noted genealogist Dr. Allan E. Marble on April 10, 1971. Per his usual procedure, he did not give the cemetery a name but instead assigned it an identifying number. For this cemetery, the number was 97. He recorded the location as Torbrook Mines.

At a later date, Genweb volunteers transcribed Dr. Marble's survey notes and made them available online at Rootsweb. At that time, the volunteers named it "United Church of Canada Cemetery" but, in the cemetery index, they listed the name simply as "United Church of Canada". He recorded the location as Torbrook Mines.

Dr. Marble transcribed 91 headstones containing 204 inscriptions. The oldest identifiable stone is from 1883.

DIRECTIONS: This cemetery is located on the south side of Torbrook Road, directly behind Civic #1388, the Torbrook Mines United Church of Canada.
