Former Delaney's Methodist Church has also been referred to as Dulaney's Chapel and is located in Blackbird Hundred, New Castle county, just above the Kent County line. The church began in the early 1800's in the home of John Wilson that stood on Massey's Road at the Maryland/Delaware State Line and was known as the Limestone Methodist Society.

Church membership grew and and a log church was built on two acres of land donated by Walter Dulaney. However, the deed Walter Dulaney gave was never recorded, so the exact year the church was built is unknown but estimated to be in the early 1830's.

According to the Delaware Tombstone Transcription Project:
"The first church was made of logs. The second church, of frame construction was erected in 1842, and was called Limestone Chapel. The present edifice dates from 1893."

This cemetery was also listed by Find-A-Grave as Dulaneys Methodist Church Cemetery in Kent County, Delaware.
