Hauho Church or St. John's Church was built probably in the early 1500's, although it could be even older. It's made of greystone with a bell tower built of brick. The wooden poorboy "Blind Bartimeus" is one of the oldest in Finland. The triumph cross is from 1500's. There also hangs a copy of the original votive ship from 1609, that is kept in the Sea Museum in Kotka. It's been estimated the oldest in the Scandinavia.
Almost 200 fallen soldiers lie in the war heroes' graves in Hauho Churchyard.
