Location: US Hwy 17 North, go 13.9 miles and turn right on Pine Harbor Rd. Go 0.1 mile, turn left on Young Mans Rd and go 4 miles. Take the Shellman Bluff Rd. (right), go 0.7 miles, turn right on Neal Blvd. and go 0.2 miles. Turn right on River Dr. The Cemetery is 100 ft.. on the right.
History: John Forbes owned the land on which the Cemetery is located prior to the Civil War. Several of those buried here were born in slavery. One fought for the North in the Union Navy. The names are reminiscent of plantation owners in this Northeastern part of McIntosh County. If we only knew more of the history of the ones resting here, perhaps in eternity we shall.
