I call this a Lost cemetery as no one has been buried here for years. Cemetery is overgrown with thick brush, trees, leaves and weeds. Many graves are only marked with a stone but their are still several headstones here. The cemetery sits only a little ways off the road. The walk up is a semi-steep hill. Once at the top (not that far) the cemetery begins to level out somewhat. Their are many different names buried here and several babies in the baby section. As their are a lot of late 1800 burials, almost all of the graves are sunken in about 2 feet as in this time period their were no vaults and only wooden caskets. Over time these have detoriated and is quite noticeable by the large sink holes throughout the cemetery. Anyone wishing to visit here should take note to visit in the late fall when it is getting cold but before the snow falls. Their are rattle and copperhead snakes in this area and it would not be wise to explore until they hibernate.

Update: Cemetery had a make over in the last few years and is in much better condition than previously stated.
