ALSO KNOWN AS THE MYRTLE CEMETERY OR GLASBY CEMETERY OR MAGPIE CEMETERY - Located on the originally named Magpie Grade Road, now called Gifford Reubens Road.
The orginal owner of this property was William Glasby; then Ida McKensie who gave the plot to the Myrtle Cemetery Assn. in May 1913. Trustees were J.L. Pearson, Beene Zigler, and Elroy Spivey. The Cemetery is not part of the Nez Perce Maintenance District, Gifford (Lenore), ID and is will kept. It is about the size of 2 city blocks, but only a few stones remain to mark graves. The number of burials are unknown. It is located on the Gifford Reubens Road (formerly known as Magpie Grade) approximately 1 mile east of the junction of Cottonwood Creek and Gifford Reubens Road. Located in the SW 1/4 if NE 1/4 of Sec. 11, T36N R3W, south and east of the town of Myrtle, ID. It is located on the north side of the road.
