The cemetery is a little drive from the church. The cemetery and church is located on a dirt road - county road 164 off Doyle Rd.
There are numerous unmarked slabs, some graves are marked with only a brick, pot or jar. While walking the cemetery, I knew there were also numerous other graves with nothing to mark them, only sunken earth.
There is a small fenced area with no markers, only a sign on the gate with the word "Peebles". I am assuming that is a surname for those buried within the fenced area.
Information taken from USGenWeb Archives: "At entrance to cemetery there is a lot containing several graves of the Peoples family. Lot is enclosed with a rusted metal fence to which the family name was for a long time attached. The peoples were a caucasian family that had been using this site as a burial ground before african-americans from Mahalia Chapel began burying there, according to Aytch Wooden, Jr, who grew up in Mahalia Chapel."
