It is believed that two of the unknown graves belong to William Gilbert and his wife Martha (Maggie) Woody. The third unknown may be for William and Elizabeth's daughter Ann E. (Gilbert) Ellis. Some records show that Wm. Gilbert died on May 15, 1889, in Charlottesville at the age of 68. The remaining grave site may be for a Durham.
