"Drucilla Lawrence died on 17 March 1859[sic] and Thomas Kile on 5 March 1862 at the age of 83 years, 7 months, 26 days. Burial was in a family plot, designated by the Gwinnett County Historical Society as the Benson Family Cemetery, located on Sycamore Road 1.6 miles towards Buford Dam from Georgia Highway 20 in the Sugar Hill District of Gwinnett County. Their daughter and son-in-law, Mahulda and Willis Benson, are also buried in the family plot, as are other members of the Willis Benson Family. The property, no doubt, was owned by Thomas Kile at the time the burying ground was started and his residence would have been nearby."
