Add PhotosHunter's Grove was an original timber tract east of Wayne that was homesteaded by the Hunter family, and later George & Rebecca Scott lived there. For many years in the 1800's it was a popular picnic spot for many local residents. George & Rebecca are both buried in the grove, which is on private property. There does exist one tall grave marker with both names on it, enclosed with an old wire fence.
