According to Dudley, Mass. Cemetery Inscriptions and Burial Records, typed and indexed by Marilyn Labbe, page 67 (per inscriptions copied by George Maynard in 1906-7 contained in a manuscript at the New England Historic & Genealogical Society, Boston, MA): "Inscription on a gravestone in a small burial lot located on the line which runs between the towns of Charlton and Dudley, MA. The line runs between the graves of Isaac Chase and his wife, as it was their desire to be buried each in their native town. The inclosure is in a pasture on the old Davis Darling farm, about midway between Baker (or Gore) and Blood Ponds."
Per my visit there in 2011 the small family plot appears entirely on the Dudley side of visible boundaries. Two additional stones visible appear uninscribed. One might infer that the stones on either side of the inscribed stone are for Anna on the Dudley side and Isaac on the Charlton side, the inscribed stone representing the boundary between them.
