Add PhotosOur parents desire was for burial on their property in Young County Texas. Our mother had babied the scrub oaks and this is the current site of this cemetery. As family members have died, those have been added to this cemetery.
Our parents wanted the land to remain in one piece and never to be sold. As they said," They aren't making any more land." It is our desire that their wishes and wants are carried forward for generations to come.
Our Daddy's hands
lay folded in eternal stillness and much
deserved rest. They had not been the hands of a great artist or world renowned sculptor, but these hands had
provided for his family and played music that I long to hear him play.
These hands had seen good times, hard times
and adverse times. They had know the emptiness
Of burying his first born child, a daughter of
seven years, a first born Reynolds' grandson
his first son-in-law that he thought of as a son,
followed in years by two more dear son-in-laws,
sisters, brothers, and his loving helpmate through
life..his wife(Mama.)
Through his life with one wife, devoted to his family
For all this the ones he has left behind, we are
so blessed and thankful for God letting us be a
a part of his life.
