The most significant architectural feature of this site is a round tower that is likely to date from the late eleventh or early twelfth centuries. Nothing now remains of the medieval parish church, though it appears to have stood within the churchyard, between the round tower and the early nineteenth-century parish church, and possibly on or near the site of three burial enclosures at the centre of the churchyard cemetery.
