The cemetery is located south of Dublin city, in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains.
The survey of the cemetery was commenced in June 2011 and completed in August 2011. It is estimated that the cemetery contains about 900 grave plots, of which some 870 are "occupied". Details and photographs of all of the headstones have been taken. All of the memorials are now fully completed.
It is updated on a regular basis.
The inscriptions on about 8 headstones were illegible, being worn away due to age. Some 6 plots have no headstone.
