The first known survey of this cemetery was done by Dr. Allan E. Marble on September 17, 1966. He noted that it was called the "Harris Cemetery" and assigned it an identifying number, in this case 26, and a location, Upper Clements.



At a later date, Genweb volunteers transcribed Dr. Marble's survey notes and made them available online at Rootsweb and, at that time, the volunteers named it "Capt. John Harris Cemetery" and cited the location as Upper Clements.



DIRECTIONS: The cemetery is located on the north side of Highway 1, west of Civic #3289.
