Add PhotosNOTE: After talking with local residents, the remaining stones from this cemetery were broken into pieces and scattered about decades ago. The pieces were supposedly made into a wall at the rear of the lot, but later disappeared. This lot was recently deeded to the property owner at the 225 Leon Street residence which adjoins Lark Alley, and do not know anything of the disposition of the stone fragments. All data here was obtained from sources such as obituaries, etc.
In the past, due to the number of Ream's found in the nearby Berkley Hills Cemetery, it was assumed that the Ream Cemetery was later merged into Berkley Hills, but maps from the Cambria County Courthouse confirm the existence of this cemetery. Special thanks to Melvin Singer of Johnstown, PA for his research and help in locating this plot.
In Willliam Ream's obituary, it states that he and Barbara had twelve children. Other than Sarah, there are three that died young and were not recorded in any census record, so most likely they are buried here as well.
November 28, 2011: William & Barbara Ream were re-interred at Richland Cemetery.
