This cemetery was originally known as the HEAD BURYING GROUND or the HEAD CEMETERY. Most of the people buried here descend from or were related to Newport Head and Margaret Reed Head. I believe it is most likely that Newport and Margaret Head are buried here as well.
This cemetery is in a clump of woods in a farm field. Bushes and vines cover most of the graves. There are many unmarked graves as well as wooden and stone markers that are illegible. One grave is marked with a very large rock. Another has only a foot stone. Another grave has an illegible metal funeral home marker.
