This cemetery is located on land that was once a large tract of land owned by William Wilson Austin II. Upon his death, it was divided amongst his seven children from his second wife, Esther Alexander. Most of it was further divided and sold. The cemetery is now part of a cow pasture with cows walking through it as they graze. All of the headstones are broken off of the bases and laying on the ground.
One notable grave is Dr. Peter Lucilius Austin who served in the War of 1812. He was a son of William Wilson Austin II.
