The property on which this grave lies was once owned by the Iselt family. Bertha Iselt, who grew up there, married a Braden and they lived in Westphalia. The Bradens had several children before she died during childbirth. She had requested to be buried on the land where she grew up. Her body was brought from Westphalia in Falls County to New Ulm by train, then transported by horse and wagon to the Iselt farm to be buried. [Information from John Konesheck, Earline Drumm, and Doris Brod]
