This is the view from the cemetery looking out. I took this picture in the 1990s. Google maps now lists White Family Cemetery at the following location.

UPDATE: IN JULY OF 2016 WE COULDN'T GET ANYWHERE NEAR THIS GATE AS THE GRASS WAS VERY HIGH. WE STOPPED WHEN WE SPOTTED POISON IVY.

This picture was taken by myself in the 1990s. Now the remaining buildings are in rough shape. (UPDATE! THE BUILDINGS ARE MOSTLY GONE AND REPLACED BY A JUNKYARD.) The cemetery is on top of the hill and is behind and above these buildings.
Directions:
Leave Meadow Bridge, WV on Rt 20 North towards Rainelle, WV. You will travel about 3 miles.
Note: Rt. 20 is also called Main Street and Sewell Creek Road.
You will pass Rt. 29 on right.
Go slow and look for an entrance with abandoned buildings on left.
If you get to Ham Hollow Rd., you've gone too far.
Park as best you can in the "parking lot." (UPDATE - PARK AS SOON AS YOU CAN WHEN TURNING ONTO WHITE CEMETERY ROAD.)
Behind the abandoned buildings is a small bridge over Sewell's Creek; cross it.
Cross the railroad tracks and follow the dirt road up the hill.
This dirt road is White Cemetery Road.
Be careful of wandering cattle. (UPDATE; THE CATTLE ARE GONE AND THE GRASS IS VERY HIGH!)
Look up to the right and you will see the white gate of the cemetery. (UPDATE: WE COULDN'T GET UP THE HILL DUE TO HIGH GRASS AND POISON IVY.)
Climb the hill carefully as it's a bit steep.
Note: Wear good hiking shoes as a trip to this cemetery is a bit of an adventure. You may have to climb over the gate. Every time I go, it's locked to keep the cattle out.
