This is a privately-owned cemetery. This is the "oldest" of the three Quaker Cemeteries in Acushnet. There are no headstones here. The "middle" cemetery is the Long Plain Friends Cemetery and the "youngest" cemetery is the Friends Cemetery.

This is the marker at the Friends Burial Ground located on Main St between Wing Rd and Russell St. It abuts Tabor Cemetery and according to Franklyn Howland's 'A History of the Town of Acushnet' "About 1890 these head stones were reverently sunk beneath the surface, the entire plat was graded and seeded, making a beautiful spot in this attractive locality." and this area remains that way today.
