Search Springston Family Cemetery (Fort Pickett):

"This family cemetery was east of Morgan Road and south of Tommeheton Creek (Training Area 12) in what was Tract C-147 owned by the A.R. Springston et ux. in 1944 (see Table 1 and Figure 1). It is marked as "relocated" on the 1944 map and is not included on Godburn's list of cemeteries relocated to Butterwood Church (Godburn 1977: Appendix G). Information from the metal markers at Gills Bridge Road Cemetery do not indicate a specific connection to this cemetery but it is quite possible that these burials where relocated to Gills Bridge Road. The exact location of this former cemetery has not been identified at the time of this survey."
