"This family cemetery was located south of 10th Street between West and East Parade Roads probably within land now belonging to Nottoway County and in what was Tract F-
6 owned by Jessie M. Seaman et vir. in 1944 (see Table 1 and Figure 1). It is not marked as "relocated" on the 1944 map and is not included on Godburn's list of cemeteries
relocated to Butterwood Church (Godburn 1977: Appendix G). This cemetery is thought to be located on the boundary between two archaeological survey project areas, neither of
which located any evidence of a cemetery (Boyko and Boyko 2006c; Winter et al 1997). The location of this cemetery had not been verified at the time of this survey."
