"This large family cemetery was located just west of Longstreet Road and south of Route 40 (Training Area 23) in what was Tract E-334 owned by Flornie V. Elder et al. in 1944 (see Table 1 and Figure 1). It is marked as "relocated" on the 1944 map and included on Godburn's list of cemeteries relocated to Butterwood Church where 44 individuals are listed: Elizabeth Thompson, Caroline R. Thompson, Elizabeth Thompson, Prudence Thompson, Capt. W.B. Thompson, Wm. Field Thompson, Mary Ellen C. Thompson,
Knox Thompson, Allice V. Thompson, Norborne F. Thompson, M.. Ellen Thompson, Alma Thompson White, Benjamin Lemuel White, K.T. White, Pierce Thompson, Merlin Thompson, Linda Thompson, Ann Eliza Hatch and 26 Unknown (Godburn 1977: G-6). The exact location of this former cemetery has not been identified at the time of this survey."
