Search Mary Jenkins Family Cemetery (Fort Pickett):

"This family cemetery was located immediately to the west of Highway 643 (Zilles Road) and north of Butterwood Creek (Training Area 14) in what was Tract D-423 owned by Mary C. Jenkins in 1944 (see Table 1 and Figure 1). It is marked as "relocated" on the 1944 map but not included on Godburn's list of cemeteries relocated to Butterwood
Church (Godburn 1977: Appendix G). There are other Jenkins family members buried at Gills Bridge Road so although this cemetery cannot be directly correlated with relocation
information on the metal markers there, it is quite possible that the graves from the Mary Jenkins Cemetery were relocated to Gills Bridge. The exact location of this former cemetery has not been identified at the time of this survey."
