The half acre piece of land for this cemetery was donated to the community in 1895 by Robert Wyatt Sr., 1845 – 1900. The Holly Cemetery Trust was set up by a donation of $10,000.00 from Randy Clark. Through the years the Trust has had the cemetery surveyed; a chain link fence installed around the cemetery and has blacktopped the driveway.
There is no plot map for the cemetery. Pioneers such as William Anderson and his Indian wife Mary, Robert Wyatt, Christian Pfundt and William Hole are among those resting in this old cemetery. The Cemetery Trust erected a totem pole at the gravesite of Indian Mary and it is said that every so often someone leaves a little medicine pouch at the base of the totem pole.
