THIS ABANDONED CEMETERY (ALSO KNOWN AS HICKS CEMETERY) IS LOCATED IN A TIMBERED PASTURE FIVE MILES NORTH OF SENECA THEN ONE MILE EAST JUST ACROSS THE NEMAHA RIVER BRIDGE. ONE MUST GO AROUND A MILE SOUTH AND THEN WEST AND BACK THROUGH A PASTURE TO REACH THE OLD CEMETERY. THIS IS WHERE THE TOWN 'CENTRAL CITY' WAS LOCATED.

There are three natives stones on edge in a row,
no names were visible. Other stones were here and there, one greenish tombstone shaped, no visible markings. There could be more in the brush and weeds, the three marble stones were together in a row, I think they were moved to that area.
