Macey's Ridge has but a single grave and locted inside San Angelo State Park and remained unknown until its discovery in the early 1940's.

The Houston Chronicle published an article on Sunday, September 21, 1997, by Sheryl Smith-Rodgers which may be read at:

The Austin American Statesman published an article on Sunday, February 4, 2001, on page 4 of section D, titled "The Mystery of Macey's Ridge: San Angelo State Park Holds a Haunting Secret," by Sheryl Smith-Rodgers.

The San Angelo Standard Times published a couple of articles I am searching for links to. One in the late 90's and the other in early-mid 2000.

The Victoria Advocate published an article about the state park in the Sunday, May 11, 1997 paper with an article title, "Prehistoric touches grace San Angelo State Park." The State Park has a tour which will take you to the grave twice a year.
