Go down CR 176 in Singleton, TX 1.9 miles to where CR 176 and 177 join. Turn left and continue to the end of the road which will end in a locked gate. On your right the remains of the Old Kellum Springs Hotel may be seen. The old wooden house is not the original building but a more recent structure. Go through the gate and follow the pasture road over a small bridge. After you cross the bridge, go about .5 mile to a fence that is partly down. Go thru the fence and ahead in and around an overgrown plot is the cemetery. Part of the foundations of brick vault and a wood gate are all that remains. The headstones were removed long ago according to Hershell Perry of Singleton.
At one time, people thought money was buried in the cemetery and dug up the burial ground looking for treasure they thought Nathaniel K. Kellum had buried there.
