This cemetery is on property owned by Weyman Smith of Keith. To reach the cemetery turn off FM 244 onto county Road 173 going west. In the second curve you will see a hay barn on the left. The graves are near three oak trees to the right of the barn. They are unmarked. According to Plummer Jarvis (now deceased) Mr. & Mrs. Gozey and several members of the family died and were dead for several days before they were found in their home. Buzzards were circling the family home, they are supposed to have been poisoned by a dead snake in their water well. They had 3 surviving children who shared their estate. Charles, Josephine and Mary E.
