Denney Corner Cemetery is also know as German Baptist (Dunkard) Church Cemetery. It is located in Vernon Township on 700 North, forty yards east of Fortville Pike (Old State Road 13).

The cemetery, which never had but two burials and one gravemarker, is on land now owned by Denzil and Lorraine (Denney) Ifert.

In 1883, Alfred Denney donated land and money, for the construction of a brick church to be built. Three years later Alfred and his son, Isom had finished the church.

When he and his wife Sarah died, they were laid to rest in front of the church.

When the church doors closed in 1910, the cemetery was named "Denney Corner Cemetery".

The cement slab situated on the gable end of the brick church building, was salvaged and has a "place of honor" in the dazzling flower garden of the Iferts.

Its deeply carved letters state:

"A and I.W. Denney
Dunkard Church
October 1886"
