Search Inverallan Cemetery:

This was the original cemetery serving the parish of Inverallan; there is no church at this site. Burials still take place in existing lairs otherwise since 1908 new lairs have been provided at the nearby Grantown cemetery.
This cemetery is on the west bank of the River Spey at the end of a lane leading from the A95 Grantown bypass road. There is a walking route from High Street, Grantown which follows the Kylintra burn and emerges on the A95 alongside a recent house built on the site of Kylintra sawmill. The nearby Grantown cemetery has a lower gateway onto the Grantown bypass putting the two within about 5-10 minutes walk of each other.
NOTE - parts of this cemetery are liable to occasional flooding and the ground can be soft and uneven requiring suitable footwear.
