Baileytown Cemetery, Baileytown is now part of Bear Mountain State Park. About 3 1/2 miles from Long Mountain Circle (Route 6) near the Park boundary on the south side of old Baileytown Road, 1/2 mile past Upper Twin Lake. The narrow dirt lane, to the left of a pavillion, is an extension of a private camp road. Entrance from Route 6, alongside Lake Teata, is barred by an locked gate.
A family enclave, Baileytown had a District School at Lower Twin Lake. In summer, a small store operated at Popolopen Creek. Central Valley, four to five miles west of Stockbridge Mountain, was the principal source of supplies.
