The Deaumanette Cemetery is located on Tom's Creek (Hwy 438W), in the woods a few yards east the Westside-DePriest Cemetery.
There is no trail to it, and it is only visable from the highway in the fall and winter time. There are 6 graves with unmarked stones in this cemetery and a sign within a wire enclosure. Mary & Tammy Bowen originally documented this gravesite and abstracts from their notes are as follows:
The Deaumanette family emigrated from France to the US in 1847. According to the 1860 census, the family consisted of Louis Charlemaine Deaumanette, his wife, Clara Adele Patri, son Henry E. (1837) daughters, Leona Louisa (1844) and Adell (1851). Leora Louisa married Samuel M. Warren.
-- These could be the six people in these graves as they are all adult graves, but it is not known for sure.
