The Memorial Garden (Columbarium) was built in 2002 at the northeast corner of the church property at 9th & Delaware in Denver. Construction began on August 12, 2002 and, except for landscaping, was completed in January of 2003. Twenty-seven men donated time, muscles and use of tools and equipment during the actual construction.
On March 11, 2003, the Memorial Garden Committee met for our last meeting and transferred future responsibilities for the Gardens to the church standing committee, Memorial/Bequest/Endowment Committee. They will establish engraving standards for the niches. Presently there are 56 ground niches with 12 sold and 72 columbarium niches with 43 sold.
