The Johnson Family cemetery is located in Troup Co. GA on what had been the Johnson family plantation near Antioch, GA very close to Glenn, GA at the Troup-Heard County lines. The property since about the 1930's has been in the possession of the Hagedon family: Lakeview Co. (Ltd. Partnership) West Point, GA. The deed gives the Johnson family access through the property off Georgia Highway 109 to the cemetery area.
Antioch, located in Land Lot 30 of the 15th District, West Vernon, is in the northwest corner of Troup County, GA, across the Chattahoochee River. It is on highway GA 109. (Cross McGee Bridge and go straight ahead, at ten miles turn left. About fifteen miles.)

On November 4, 1919, James N. Johnson made a land purchase, as follows: STATE OF GEORGIA, TROUP COUNTY J. W. A. Rowland, Executor, to James N. Johnson - KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That J.W.A. Rowland, duly constituted Executor of the Estate, both real and personal of Thomas P. Johnson, late of Troup County, deceased, by virtue of an order of the Court of Ordinary of Troup County, granted at the regular September Term, Nineteen Hundred and Nineteen of said County . . . to James N. Johnson of the County of Carroll, being the highest bidder, at the price of $4750.00 . . . the following described Real Estate, to-wit: Lots of land Nos. 28 and 17 and four acres off of lot of land No. 27, all in the fifteenth land district of said State and County, containing in all four hundred and nine acres (409).

". . . Both the white and colored cemeteries which are located on lot 17 are reserved, and the title to the same does not pass by this deed. These cemetery lots include one-half acre each with the present graves on them as the center. The privilege of a right of way to and from each of these cemeteries over said lands is hereby reserved. To have and to hold the same, together with all the rights, members, and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said James N. Johnson, heirs and assigns forever, in as full and ample a manner as the same was seized, possessed and enjoyed by the said T.P. Johnson, at the time of his death. . ."
