The cemetery is actually in what was Litchville Township. The old part of the cemetery is on the north side of the road. There is a newer part of the cemetery across the road on the south side. This is in Lamoure County. The current city of Litchville is north several miles in Barnes County. The cemetery is located 4 miles south of Hwy 46 on Hwy 1. Turn to the west at the intersection of 58th St SE & Hwy 1 (112 Ave SE). It was the church cemetery to a church called North Lamoure Church. The church has since fallen, but a small replica of it is built on the site. Also on the site are the church reader board & bell. The reader board has a listing of all the internments at the time of being posted and a map depicting the layout.

The stained glass windows of North Lamoure church are now in the Lutheran Church of the Cross in West Fargo, ND

The history of the windows as told by Clara (Rocksvold) Smedshammer.

The windows were purchased in 1915 from a Minneapolis company and shipped by train to Hastings, North Dakota. Clara's father, Per Rocksvold, and Christopher Smedshammer (the uncle of Clara's future husband, Jacob Smedshammer), drove their horse-drawn hay wagons about seven miles to Hastings where they loaded the windows and brought them to their home in North LaMoure Lutheran Church.

Per was quite well-known in the area for his team of Belgrian Percheran horses named Fly and Dan. Clara would have been 10 years old at the time. According to Clara, the windows were purchased by the Young Ladies Aide Society for $500. In 1951 some restoration work was done on the windows.
