Search Pickering Burial Ground:

Pickering Burial Ground- "First Burial Late 1600 or Early 1700- Restored in 1971 by Chester E. Pickering O.B.E. Born 1881 Died 1983"

Located off of Farm Street in Blackstone, MA. It is accessed by foot in the woods behind the St Stanislaus cemetery section of the St Charles Cemetery.

You can access the entrance to St Stanislaus by vehicle. The entrance is located on the left hand side heading North across from the #104/105 house number markers. Or heading North you can find the entrance just after the house that is after the very last entrance/exit to St Charles Cemetery. See picture of entrance sign.

Once you enter the drive, go up hill and the paved road with veer to the left behind the house. You are in the St Stanislaus section of the St Charles Cemetery. Stop as the road turns you will see a dirt dumping area to the right. You must walk the rest of the way- Just ahead about 50 ft and slightly to your left you will find the burial grounds set under a patch of pine trees.
