Until the 1930's a church stood beside Bacher-Baugher Cemetery to the south. According to local historian, Charles Goslin, this church was a combination German Reform and Presbyterian (St. Paul's German and English Evangelical Lutheran). Land was granted for the cemetery in 1847 but graves date from as early as 1806. There are four Revolutionary War veterans buried here.
There are many open spaces between the tombstones indicating that there may be stones missing. Many of the stones are made from sandstone and are flaking badly and are difficult or impossible to read. A number of the stones have been repaired. Unfortunately at the back of this cemetery along the fence is a pile of stones (and pieces of stones) which have been removed from the cemetery proper.
