Search Sam Duncan Farm Cemetery:

The cemetery is located on the old Sam Duncan Farm. Sometimes called the Goodrum Cemetery since the majority is Goodrums buried here. The old homestead was the home of James G and Elizabeth HARMON GOODRUM. It is located in what is now Drake, Warren County, KY on the south side of Middle Fork Creek.

The cemetery is back off the road in a grove of trees. There is a road that leads to the cemetery.

I do have some pictures and will be adding in the near future.

The following was sent to me from the owner at the time when I was down there.
"His family bought it in 1969. From what he has found out the cabin was built around 1812 and the farm was home steaded in 1796 by a Goodrum. He thinks the son (James Garner built the cabin when he was around 18). The cemetery dates back to the first burial that I could find of 1819."

The first person found so far to be buried in the cemetery is:
Roby ALLCOCK
Born Oct 8 1810
Died Nov 7 1819

The last person so far to be found buried in the cemetery is:
Elizabeth DODD
Born Oct 3 1835
Died Mar 24 1906
