The Hannastown Graveyard is located across the road from the larger Steel's Hannastown Cemetery. The graveyard is located up the hill 0.2 miles from the Old Hannastown intersection and on the left in a split rail fenced in and nicely mowed area.
John B. Steel made a map in 1895 showing this Old Hannastown graveyard as he knew it to be. That was over 100 years after the Hannastown Masaacre in ca 1782.
There was no evidence that this was the burial place of the victims of the indian attacks but it could be. It's just my opinion. Any wooden markers are long gone to the ages.
The Old Hannastown Graveyard on the Steel map is clearly marked.
