Pioneer Cemetery
Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, USA
Most of the remains left behind were in unmarked graves. In 1948, Kingman Junior High was built next to the cemetery site, and in 1957 Kingman High School was built on an adjacent property. In 2009, these two facilities were revamped into the new Lee Williams High School, and excavation for that project turned up the old cemetery under the former football field.
